Your New Role:
You'll be setting up and executing machining operations on a variety of materials, ensuring precision and quality. Handle major/minor machines and set up fixtures and cutters. Work tasks might include:
- Starting from computer-scheduled tasks or direct production instructions.
- Studying technical plans to set operation sequences.
- Using measuring tools for precision control.
- Handling different machine setups and keeping operations smooth.
- Maintaining machines and ensuring operational standards.
- Collaborating for problem-solving and process improvements.
- Maintaining a clean and hazard-free workspace.
- Operating forklifts for logistical duties.
- Committing to all safety standards and reporting any concerns immediately.
We're Looking for Someone Who:
- Can stand for long hours, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Has a keen eye for detail and problem-solving flair.
- Knows how to use measurement tools efficiently.
- Is reliable, punctual, and committed to high attendance.
- Has familiarity with manufacturing hand tools and equipment.
Your Background:
You should have a diploma, GED, or vocational credentials, plus at least a year’s machining experience or equivalent education and training.
