What You Will Do:
- Responsibilities vary based on which team you are placed on – teams include confirming, prior authorization, stop/hold, accounts receivable, payment posting.
- Data entry of all patient demographics, guarantor, and insurance information, posting procedures, and insurance/patient payments.
- Resolve billing inquiries from customers and adjust when appropriate.
- Determines appropriate HCPC code and Medicare and insurance pricing.
- Insurance verifications, confirmation of sales orders, obtain prior authorization, claims adjustment, and follow up with outstanding accounts receivables.
What We are Looking for:
- Previous experience or certification/diploma in medical billing required.
- Knowledge of medical coding and billing systems and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to adapt and modify medical billing procedures, protocol, and data management systems.
- Must learn and grow to have in-depth knowledge of products sold, associated medical conditions, and insurance coverage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and phone etiquette skills.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm
