This includes conducting diagnostic assessments, writing treatment plans, and providing care coordination for those impacted by domestic violence, sexual violence, sexual exploitation and human trafficking. Experience providing trauma-informed and culturally sensitive care is desired. Applicants must have direct experience working with people from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Cornerstone is centered on community engagement; therefore, applicants with experience working in schools or other community-centered programming are strongly preferred.

Experience/Qualifications:
- Applicants must hold a master's degree in social work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and/or Professional Counseling.
- Licensed Clinical Therapists (LICSW, LMFT, or LPCC’s) are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Pre-licensed Clinical Therapists (LGSW, LAMFT or LPC’s) with 2 or more years of outpatient or community-based clinical experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Pre-licensed Therapists must be actively pursuing independent licensure as it corresponds with the state licensing board). Supervision will be provided or assigned to pre-licensed staff by the Clinical Director.
- Experience working in K-12 schools is a plus as we partner with several Hennepin County schools. Cornerstone provides varying support groups for abuse survivors/victims, and caregivers. Group facilitation experience is a plus, however training will be provided.
- Applicants must have access to a reliable vehicle and possess a valid Minnesota driver’s license with an active insurance policy.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain compliance with community practice standards; complete diagnostic assessments, closing summaries, progress notes, and clinical treatment plans as required, in a timely manner.
- Provide counseling services (individual, family and support groups) to survivors/victims of domestic violence, sexual violence, and victims of human trafficking and exploitation
- Responds to phone inquiries on the Clinic Services Line as scheduled. Provide care coordination for clients and their families for internal agency services requested.
- Must be willing to work 2 evenings a week to facilitate support groups for survivors/victims, and caregivers.
- Participate in staff meetings, supervision meetings and trainings as assigned
- Adherence to NASW Code of Ethics, HIPAA standards, as well as state professional and ethical standards for mental health.
- Familiarity with using an Electronic Health Record system is a plus.
- Completion of 40-Hour Sexual Assault Advocacy training required within first 2 months of employment.
