Qualifications
Primary duties will consist of but not limited to:

Repairs vehicles per estimate with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and according to manufacturer standards.

Prepares vehicles for body repair work.

Communicates with the Parts Department to obtain needed parts and ensures all parts are ordered and received.

Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.

Communicates with the Body Shop Estimator immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.

Punches in time and documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.

Maintains tools and equipment in a proper state of repair.

Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, as recommended by the equipment manufacturer.

Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials. Reports any deviations to management.

Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.

Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner and wears appropriate safety equipment.
Education and/or Experience:

Body Shop experience
-
I-CAR certified
Qualifications and Requirements:

Current, valid Drivers License with driving record that meets insurance company standards

Willing to submit and the ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written

Earn and maintain on-going industry and factory related training requirements

Detail-oriented, and strong work ethic

Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
