Job Summary
Cornerstone Care is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide specialized care for a pediatric patient in the home care setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatric care and be available to work, day or evening shifts. This role involves delivering high-quality care, monitoring the patient’s condition, and ensuring overall well-being.
Schedule:
- (Sunday through Thursday overnight)
Duties
- Administer medications as prescribed by the physician.
- Monitor and manage vital signs and respiratory function.
- Assist with feeding and hydration as per the patient’s needs.
- Engage in patient and family education regarding care routines and emergency procedures.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient’s health status and care provided.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Respond promptly to any changes in the patient’s condition or emergencies.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the patient.
Requirements
- Valid LPN/ license in the state of Maryland.
- at least 2 years pediatric experience within the last 5 years.
- Competence in administering medications and monitoring vital signs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with families and other healthcare providers.
- Experience in creating and following care plans for pediatric patients.
- CPR certification and first aid training required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $33.00 - $35.00 per hour
