Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide high-quality support to individuals in need of assistance. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living environments and a strong understanding of resident rights. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personal care, companionship, and support in daily activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Provide support for individuals with developmental disabilities and memory care needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed.
- Ensure the dignity and respect of residents by upholding their rights at all times.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
- Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving, particularly in assisted living or home community care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid practices is beneficial.
- Familiarity with direct support services for individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Experience with meal preparation tailored to individual dietary needs is advantageous.
- A valid driver’s license is required for transportation duties.
