Work and collaborate with NextGen staff member that is overseeing NextGen social media.

PURPOSE:

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement and oversee weekly 84th Middle School ministry for students. (Wednesday nights)
- Resource ministry supplies and curriculum needs for weekly programming, including games and/or other special event programming needs
- Speak when scheduled
- Prior to start of school year, prepare curriculum and calendar with NextGen Director, NextGen Admin and NextGen team
- Plan yearly activities in collaboration with NextGen team with the help from NextGen Admin

- Develop a middle school ministry team to help plan events
- Oversee Confirmation on Sunday mornings from Sept.-Feb.
- Oversee Confirmation at all campuses
- Attend and participate in middle school CSM activities
Work and collaborate with NextGen staff member that is overseeing NextGen social media.
Leader trainings
Support Heritage Hill & South Wyoming campuses occasionally when needed
RECRUIT & EQUIP
- Recruit, train, and schedule volunteers to serve in CSM.
- Collaborate with NextGen Admin for volunteer on-boarding and training.
- Lead, equip and care for volunteers and support volunteers
COMMUNICATE
- Weekly check ins with CSM Volunteers to ensure alignment, consistency and vision is understood
- Work with NextGen Admin Assistant and High School Lead to come up with a strategy to connect and follow-ups with new students and parents
- Provide content to NextGen Admin for the following
Weekly texts to parents - Monthly emails to parents
- Monthly emails to CSM leader
- Emails to new student parents
TEAMWORK
- Collaborate with NextGen Team and other ministry teams
- Participate in weekly staff prayer meetings
- Participate in quarterly staff meeting
- Participate in weekly NextGen meetings
- Participate in one-on-one meetings with Director of NextGen Director
- Maintain confidentiality of congregation, leaders, and students
BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to yearly/monthly budget for CSM
- Complete weekly Divvy report
SKILLS/ REQUIREMENTS
- Must know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior
- Passion for God and students
- Terrific people skills with an ability to inspire volunteer leaders
- Must be willing to become a regular attendee of Cornerstone Church.
- Willing to commit to supporting Gods work at Cornerstone through prayerfully considered financial generosity.
- Possess a willingness to learn and grow professionally.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, be detail-oriented, and flexible.
- Good written and verbal communication skills via phone, email, and in person.
- Possess basic proficiency in Windows software, internet, and willingness to learn new applications.
- Ability to work as a team player and collaborate with others
WORKING CONDITIONS - Regular standing, walking, climbing, crouching, bending, pushing, or pulling
- Understand, speak, read, and write fluent English
- Able to lift to 50 lbs.
- Able to work nights, weekends, and days (flexible)
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree or experience preferred in ministry, administration, communication, or related field.
Salary : $16 - $18
