What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychiatric Medical Provider- MD, PMHNP, FNP, APNP, PA position at Cornerstone Clinic (Wisconsin)?
We are looking for a medical provider, able to prescribe medications if necessary, who also has an interest in integrative medicine. We are committed to a different kind of mental health care- healing the body and mind to improve and hopefully eliminate mental health symptoms. We believe that medications can be valuable to treating mental health concerns but we also believe in a conservative approach in regards to prescribing medications. An ideal candidate would already have some knowledge of integrative medicine (or at least be interested in learning!) and an existing knowledge of psychiatric medications.
We are interested in hiring a qualified applicant within the next month if at all possible.
Requirements
- Have an active/current license in WI as MD, PMHNP, FNP, PA or APNP
- Strong experience in mental health/psychiatric patient care
- Full DEA number to prescribe in WI
- Compassionate, kind patient interaction
- Interest or existing knowledge in integrative medicine
- Able to be on-site two days a week (telehealth other days)
