Our Opportunity :
The Relationship Banker III / Universal Associate III is responsible for building and strengthening relationships with Cornerstone Community Financial Credit Union members and is accountable for discovering, anticipating, and meeting their financial service needs through the active promotion, sales and delivery of our products and services. They professionally and accurately perform financial transactions for members and cross-sell credit union products and services to help members achieve their financial goals and the branch achieve its sales goals. They will assist the Assistant Branch Manager / Branch Manager with daily branch functions as needed, leading through example in delivery of excellent member service and sales.
What You'll Do in This Role :
- Enhance the financial lives of our members by identifying and assisting members to achieve their short and long-term financial needs and goals, through active listening and confidently recommending appropriate products and services utilizing a consultative, relationship-building sales approach including, but not limited to facilitating the HELOC, mortgage lending, and IRA processes, opening and maintaining accounts (both consumer and business), processing consumer loan applications, Credit Insurance, GAP, and MBP and other duties as assigned to deepen the member relationship with CCF.
- Ensure each member receives outstanding, courteous friendly service which exceeds their expectations, while working within Performance and Standards of Excellence guidelines and living the Cornerstone Service Promises.
- Process transactions, updates account information, and documents member interviews in our core system promptly, efficiently, and accurately with close attention to detail.
- Research member issues and situations and collaborates with internal departments, as necessary, to resolve concerns.
- Foster cooperation, teamwork, and frequent communication with the Centralized Lending and Loan Processing staff to ensure seamless service for our membership. Follows-up through the loan closing process.
- Perform department-related support duties, to include, but not limited to scanning, faxes, and working daily reports.
- Effectively comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
