Entry-Level Construction Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively with others on-site.

Duties

• Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and ensuring a clean workspace.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople to complete tasks effectively.
• Help with the assembly and disassembly of scaffolding, structures, and temporary work areas.
• Maintain safety standards and adhere to all safety protocols on-site.
• Perform physical labor such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials as required.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and safety updates.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required; we welcome entry-level candidates willing to learn.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions accurately.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.54 - $28.11 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week
