Position Overview: The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and strategic direction of the Connecting Fathers, Connecting Families program. This individual will manage key program deliverables to ensure optimal outcomes for the fathers and families served. The Program Manager will work closely with both the Director of Operations and Executive Director to ensure alignment with organizational and programmatic goals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by fathers and will have a strong ability to build and manage diverse teams that deliver high-quality services._ A Formal Background Check will be placed prior to employment_

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, mentor, and support a team with varied responsibilities, ensuring all team members contribute to program goals.
  • Understand and address the needs and challenges of fathers from diverse backgrounds, offering culturally sensitive support.
  • Oversee the budget and operating plan for the program, ensuring financial efficiency and alignment with project objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Data Compliance Manager to develop and maintain evaluation methods for program strengths, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Drive program effectiveness, safety, quality, and overall team performance by implementing targeted interventions.
  • Serve as the key communicator between the program team and the executive leadership, providing timely updates on project milestones, challenges, and decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in program management, preferably in a non-profit or social services setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in project management and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of community resources and services related to employment and family support.
  • Produce accurate, detailed reports on the status of the program, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Manage risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program sustainability and success.
  • Cultivate relationships with community stakeholders, partners, and collaborators to expand the program's reach and impact.

Educational Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree (MA) or Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Education, Non-Profit Management or related

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a management or leadership role in case management, social work, or project management.
  • Previous experience working with fatherhood programs, family services, or community-based initiatives preferred.
  • Proven track record in leading program teams, managing budgets, and delivering on complex projects with diverse outcomes.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and cultivate a collaborative team environment.
  • Solid understanding of the specific needs and challenges of fathers, with the ability to tailor services to meet those needs effectively.
  • Advanced project management skills, with a solid foundation in budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate and manage risks.
  • High level of organization, with attention to detail in managing multiple aspects of the program simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to team members and leadership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Airtable, Slack, Salesforce, and other project management and communication platforms.

  • Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity to the needs of diverse populations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage and support team members and program participants.
  • Experience negotiating and working with external partners to achieve program objectives.

Work Environment:

  • This position will require travel across multiple counties, including but not limited to Volusia, Putnam, Lake, Seminole, and Sumter counties.
  • Flexibility is needed, as some evening and weekend work may be required to meet program needs

Pay: $55,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
