Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. Duties
- Prepare and set up forms for pouring concrete, ensuring they are level and secure.
- Operate concrete mixers to mix materials according to project requirements.
- Pour, spread, and level concrete using hand tools or power tools.
- Finish surfaces of poured concrete using various techniques such as troweling, smoothing, and edging.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project timelines are met.
- Perform masonry work as needed for restoration or renovation projects.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction site operations and safety practices.
- Familiarity with various tools and equipment used in concrete finishing, including mixers and trowels.
- Ability to perform tasks related to welding, flooring installation, and trim carpentry is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical specifications accurately.
