Job Responsibilities :
- Accurately enter and maintain approved hardware / software tickets in Jira.
- Own and manage the database, ensuring that End of Life (EOL) hardware and software items are identified and removed in a timely manner.
- Assist in automating updates and maintenance of the database to streamline workflows.
- Apply systems thinking to database management, ensuring cohesion between hardware and software components.
- Understand and manage software-related aspects such as terminology, versions, and releases.
- Oversee configuration management of the system, ensuring accurate tracking and version control.
- Generate and manage inventory reports, ensuring up-to-date and accurate reporting on system configurations.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure seamless data integration and report generation.
- Strong understanding of software terminology, versions, and release processes.
- Familiarity with managing system configurations and version control practices.
- General knowledge of hardware and software in hosting environments.
- Experience with inventory reporting concepts and tools.
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence or similar configuration management (CM) tools.
- Ability to think critically and apply systems thinking to database management.
- Experience automating database updates.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
