Position Overview:
As a Recruiting Manager, you will take ownership of Cornerstone’s hiring strategy. You will lead recruitment and talent acquisition efforts across all departments to support our ambitious growth trajectory. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that requires confidence, initiative, and the ability to attract top talent in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job postings to sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
- Develop and execute proactive strategies to attract top talent in engineering, project management, and administrative roles.
- Actively headhunt and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn, networking events, and direct outreach.
- Conduct high-volume outreach and candidate calls daily to maintain a steady talent pipeline.
- Draft compelling job descriptions and optimize job postings for maximum visibility and engagement.
- Conduct structured and behavioral interviews to assess candidate qualifications, cultural fit, and long-term potential.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and refine job requirements.
- Ensure a top-tier candidate experience, representing Cornerstone’s brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Assist with HR systems (HRIS), onboarding, and compliance support as needed.
- Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline the hiring process and improve efficiency.
- Support performance management initiatives and employee relations as necessary.
- Oversee offer letters, background checks, and hiring documentation to ensure compliance and a seamless onboarding process.
- Proven experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR—preferably in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently represent the company and engage candidates.
- Excellent persuasion and relationship-building skills to secure top talent in competitive markets.
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
- Experience using HRIS platforms such as Workday, BambooHR, ADP, Lever, or Greenhouse.
- Familiarity with AI tools and automation for recruitment and workflow management.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and ambition to drive recruitment strategy forward.
