Position Overview:

As a Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of roofing systems. This role requires strong attention to detail, physical endurance, and the ability to work in diverse weather conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience in roofing techniques, materials, and safety procedures to ensure high-quality workmanship.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and replace various roofing systems, including asphalt shingles, metal, tile, and flat roofs.
• Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action for repairs or replacement.
• Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific job requirements.
• Apply roofing materials such as shingles, bitumen, and waterproofing compounds.
• Operate and maintain roofing tools and equipment safely.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety and building regulations.
• Identify and address leaks, insulation issues, and other structural concerns.
• Work with a team to complete projects efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in roofing or related construction work.
• Knowledge of different roofing materials and installation techniques.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
• Familiarity with roofing safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
