About This Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Patient Services Representative at Cornerstone Family Healthcare. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service skills at all times, greeting patients promptly upon entering the waiting area and responding promptly and appropriately to their requests.
- Use appropriate phone etiquette, treating all callers with courtesy and respect, while diligently monitoring time spent on hold.
- Monitor the patient waiting area to ensure it remains clean and orderly, notifying the practice manager or Administrator on Duty of patients with extended wait times.
- Schedule appointments, change appointments, and cancel appointments as needed, verifying scheduled appointments when patients present as walk-ins to ensure they still want/need other scheduled appointments.
Qualifications
- A minimum of one year of clerical experience is required, with knowledge of data entry and a pleasant telephone manner.
- Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak Spanish fluently.
- Bachelor's degree is not required; however, a High School Diploma or Equivalent is necessary.
Holidays and Working Hours
- The Patient Services Representative will work Monday and Thursday from 9am-8pm, Tuesday from 8am-6pm, Wednesday and Friday from 8am-5pm, and Saturday from 9am-1pm (second Saturday of each month).
