As a CT / MR Field Engineer, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on a range of CT / MR products from various manufacturers within hospitals or healthcare systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as the primary onsite support engineer for customers within the assigned region, addressing contract, warranty, and billable service calls on multivendor CT / MR equipment.
- Provide consultation by phone and email with the Regional Service Manager and / or other staff to troubleshoot systems, diagnose problems, and determine best practices for issue resolution.
- Ensure timely and precise preventive maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting on medical equipment within healthcare settings, supporting optimal healthcare service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring effective communication, swift issue resolution, and proactive follow-up to drive customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills; networking experience required, DICOM proficiency preferred.
- Possess a working knowledge of UNIX or Windows operating system software.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and healthcare protocols to meet regulatory and compliance standards. Ensure all work is documented accurately, including the ordering of parts and documentation of service calls, expenses, and time reports, submitted daily per company procedures.
- Maintain accurate parts inventory control, handling ordering and returning of repairable spare parts components.
- Display strong problem-solving abilities, capable of resolving complex issues independently with limited supervision and minimal procedural standardization.
- Remain goal-oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
