Our client, a well-established employee-owned engineering firm, is seeking a highly skilled COP Systems Integration Specialist to support the operational deployment and integration of Common Operational Picture (COP) systems across military vehicle platforms. This role demands hands-on experience with systems like GCCS-J and Joint Tactical COP Workstation (JTCW), as well as a strong grasp of tactical network integration, message formats, and system interoperability.
As part of a collaborative and mission-driven team supporting all branches of the U.S. military, you'll help deliver critical systems that enhance situational awareness and battlefield connectivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end integration of COP systems on military vehicle platforms-from user interface to backend server connectivity.
- Implement, configure, and troubleshoot GCCS-J and JTCW within secure tactical networks.
- Establish and maintain secure communications between end users and COP data servers using approved protocols.
- Analyze and utilize message formats such as JSON, VMF, and other military data standards.
- Support system testing, validation, field deployment, and post-deployment troubleshooting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, IT, and operations teams to ensure high system performance and reliability.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of customer contracts.
- Proven experience with COP systems, including GCCS-J and JTCW.
- Hands-on knowledge of tactical network integration and military communications infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of tactical message formats (e.g., JSON, VMF).
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with related technologies and systems: CPCE, Link 16, JICO, G6, JBC-P, TAK, C2PC, TSM, WREN, C3T, 25B, 25U, S6.
- Experience working with military C4ISR systems and situational awareness platforms.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
