GENERAL PURPOSE
This position is responsible for emptying metro assigned by the Production Lead or Production Supervisor while ensuring no debris fall into the conveyor
belts nor hoppers, also separating soiled linen and categorizing accordingly to monitor assigned to your position in a timely manner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for dumping the received linen from carts (metros) onto conveyor belt areas.
Responsible for removing debris from soil linen as required.
Responsible for categorizing linen by customer specifications.
Responsible for maintaining the work area clean and organized.
Always follow established safety measurements and procedures.
Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Some high school courses or high school equivalent, preferred but not required.
Three months or more related experience in a commercial laundry or hospitality industry preferred.
Ability to understand, comprehend and follow simple instructions, short correspondence, and to understand product labeling.
Attention to detail and excellent organization skills.
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers.
Able to work quickly and efficiently with hands, continuously reaching out performing repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions.
Ability to work as a team and interact professionally with co-workers.
