What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Technician position at Cornerstone Improvements LLC?
I am a Specialty Contractor specializing in residential projects. I am taking on more projects that require broadening my team. This is a great opportunity to learn a thriving specialty in a fast growing market.
The majority our projects are converting covered spaces such as porches and balconies into screenrooms. I am also building and installing 3 and 4 season rooms. The majority of these projects utilize aluminum framing materials. I also take on door and window projects as well as small remodel projects.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A strong work ethic
- The ability to work with minimal supervision
- Knowledge and safety protocols for using hand and power tools
- The ability to accurately measure and cut a variety of materials
- Ability to work on ladders, roofs and/or balconies
- A sharp attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Posess a truck, van or SUV
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Construction experience or I will train the right person
- Must have own transportation to and from job sites
- Willing to work 6-10 hrs./day as needed depending on the job progress
- Willing to work as a 1099 non- employee or an independent contractor
- Referrences Required
Compensation will be based on experience.
There are no benefits as this is a 1099 position.
