What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cornerstone Equipment- Shop Service Technician position at CORNERSTONE INDUSTRIAL SERVICES LLC?
JOB PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES
- Performing proficient repairs on equipment (handheld power equipment, mowers, and tractors) on-site at the customer facility or at Cornerstone Equipment.
- Performing PDI and PM inspections and repairs on equipment for the Sales and Service teams.
- Occasionally running breakdowns for customers as needed.
- Working with team members and customers in the resolution of disputes and opportunities
- Protect organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Promoting long-term customer satisfaction.
- Professional development through attendance at seminars, training courses, etc.
- Involvement in open houses, info-seminars, trade shows and other customer related programs.
- Work closely with other departments within the organization to resolve customer problems.
- Ascertaining service problems and services by listening to customer’s description of symptoms, clarifying description of problems, conducting inspections, taking test drives, checking vehicle maintenance records, and examining service schedules.
- Pickup / Deliver Customer equipment for service or sales.
