What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childcare Lead Teacher position at Cornerstone Learning Centers?
Cornerstone Learning Center is a licensed childcare center seeking a Lead Teacher to support our TWO YEAR OLD age group.
To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a CDA, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, at least ONE year experience in a licensed childcare facility and the ability to pass all background checks.
Required Shift: Monday - Friday, full-time shifts between 6:30am - 6:00pm
Compensation: $13 - $16 per hour, based on education and experience

Main Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher with all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
- Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
- Take direction, accept constructive criticism, and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.
- Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
- Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
- Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
