Job Summary: The Sales Representative will work under the guidance of the Executive Director to assist in customer recruitment and retention and promote community awareness in line with the agency's mission of sustaining non-profits through employment services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Functions
- Identify and attract potential customers (leads) through channels such as cold calling, networking, inbound marketing, referrals, and partnerships.
- Engage with leads through calls, emails, or in-person meetings to present the company’s offerings and build strong relationships.
- Conduct presentations and demos to prospective customers, demonstrating how services meet their needs.
- Lead price discussions, contract negotiations, and work to close sales deals, converting prospects into customers.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction, encouraging repeat business, and identifying upsell opportunities.
- Analyze sales data and provide regular updates to leadership.
- Collect insights from customers to enhance service offerings and improve the sales process.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, clients, and external organizations.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including proficiency in grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Suite, and social media platforms.
- Familiarity with website management and content updates.
- Strong comprehension and communication abilities.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
