Contract/PRN, Licensed Clinician (LISW/LISW-S or LPCC/LPCC-S) – Westerville, Ohio

We Desire:
- Clinicians who will provide 15 or more direct client contact hours a week.
- In-person sessions with clients (telehealth is not an option).
- Clinicians already paneled/credentialed through insurance portals (Medicare, Medicaid & Commercial Insurances).

Position Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling (LPCC) or social work (LISW).
- Independently licensed in the state of Ohio through CSWMFT Board (LPCC) or Social Work Board (LISW).
- Bereavement experience a plus.
- Recent grads are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities:
The main duties involve providing individual counseling for children, teens, and adults.
- Provides grief and trauma-informed clinical mental health services that are eligible for reimbursement by public and private insurance.
- Schedules intake meetings for assigned client(s) and/or support group registrants who intend to use Cornerstone of Hope services.
- Selects approach to use in individual therapy such as directive, nondirective, and supportive therapy, and devises treatment plans to include frequency, intensity, and duration of therapy.
- Completes charts, treatment plans, discharge summaries, progress notes, assessments, and other chart-related documents and correspondence for assigned clients in a timely manner and according to organizational policy. Seeks clinical consultation with clinical team members as necessary.
- Provides referrals for individuals who need more specialized care, working with other community resources and referral sources to coordinate services for such clients.
- Provides therapeutic crisis intervention and emergency services as needed and/or available.
- Adheres to confidentiality law and procedures at all times.
- Promotes Cornerstone of Hope and its mission to local communities, businesses, funeral homes, churches, schools, senior centers, etc.
- Performs miscellaneous and/or other job-related duties as needed.
