Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine dental health and treatment needs.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry and oral surgery.
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Provide high-quality patient care by developing treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to enhance patient experience and clinic efficiency.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and professional development.
Skills
- Proficiency in Epic for managing patient records is preferred.
- Strong foundation in general dentistry practices and oral surgery techniques.
- Experience working in a dental office setting, demonstrating familiarity with office procedures and protocols.
- Excellent patient assessment skills to accurately diagnose dental issues.
- Ability to maintain meticulous medical records while adhering to privacy regulations.
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care with a focus on comfort and satisfaction.
- Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining a sterile environment.
- Familiarity with Dental software is advantageous for managing appointments and patient information.
