Overview
The Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the shuttle service, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely transportation for passengers. This role involves managing shuttle drivers, scheduling routes, maintaining vehicles, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Shift
- Monday – Friday; 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Nights/Weekends as needed
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of shuttle drivers.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback.
- Address any driver’s concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
- Develop and maintain shuttle schedules to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Monitor shuttle routes and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate traffic conditions and passenger needs.
- Ensure drivers adhere to schedules and routes.
- Enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure the well-being of passengers and drivers.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of shuttle vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
- Coordinate regular maintenance and repairs for shuttle vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and inspections.
- Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for service.
- Address passenger inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing courteous and efficient service.
- Maintain accurate records of driver schedules, routes, and performance.
- Prepare reports on shuttle operations, including ridership statistics and incident reports.
- Work with your operational team to continue the development of part-time/full time employees to augment staffing needs for operational staffing requirements.
- Work with HR to maintain an appropriate training platform for all local Cornerstone team members and ensure compliance with consistent hiring and on-boarding practices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Valid Driver's License.
- High school diploma/GED.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent “customer service” demeanor.
- Must be able to operate efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to travel (10%).
- The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without losing sight of timeframes and deadlines.
- High standard of integrity; responsible, reliable, and professional.
- Able to read, write, comprehend, and converse in the English language.
- Able to sit for extended periods of time (approximately 90% of the workday at times).
