Overview
Provide safe, efficient and friendly service to all passengers utilizing the hospital employee shuttle system. Drive and operate a 15-passenger shuttle to transport hospital employees along designated route on the hospital campus.
Shift
Monday - Sunday
- 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Responsibilities
- Provide courteous service to all passengers utilizing friendly greetings, smiles and professional interaction.
- Report for scheduled shift on time and in uniform.
- Ensure vehicle interior is clean and free of debris at all times.
- Maintain and log accurate passenger counts each hour and report data as needed.
- Complete daily vehicle logs each shift accurately.
- Report any maintenance issues to supervisor immediately and document on daily log.
- Work with supervisor to fuel vehicles without compromising service levels.
- Transport passengers to and from campus to designated locations in a safe and timely manner.
- Obey all traffic laws at all times.
- Maintain a clean driving record notifying supervisor of any moving violations.
- Provide expediting and dispatching support for shuttles, as directed by supervisor.

Requirements
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid Driver's License, responsible driving record
- Previous driving experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- High standard of integrity
- Experience delivering quality service in customer/public environment
- Displays a positive attitude, flexibility, initiative and ability to communicate effectively
- Able to read, write, comprehend, and converse in the English language
- Able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to enter and exit a shuttle vehicle while navigating stairs in a safe manner.
Salary : $17 - $18
