Position Overview
An integral part of the parking and valet operations team, the Valet Manager position is responsible for helping guide and execute all facets of the East Bank UMMC Valet and Parking operation. This includes onsite team building, client relationship management, operational planning and execution, while collaborating within Cornerstone and the clients we serve.
Responsibilities
Team Orientation, Leadership & Excellence
- Promote a team environment that delivers quality service to all internal & external customers in a manner that professionally represents Cornerstone.
- Work with Manager to develop a team of leadership personnel within the Valet Team.
- Create, communicate, and reinforce leadership and staff expectations.
- Practice and promote servant leadership by, leading by example, putting the needs of others before our own needs, and empowering and equipping your employees to do and be their best.
- Conduct daily huddles with Valet Supervisors, Captains and Drivers. Develop and communicate plan of action daily and weekly.
- Demonstrate and live out Cornerstone's mission to be the trusted extension of our client, and our core values of Integrity, Passion, Teamwork, and Excellence.
Recruiting, Staffing & Training
Conduct interviews, train and onboard new valet team members.Work with HR to ensure compliance and consistent hiring and on-boarding practices.Design, deliver, document, and maintain an appropriate training platform for all on-site Cornerstone team personnel.Operations & Integrity
Work with Senior leadership to design safe and efficient operating plans for each valet location.Create and maintain valet operations manuals for each point of service / sale.Ensure all valet operations deliver a professional image and service to all customers.Client Relations & Development
Creating monthly operational reviews for client to create a forum for communication and relationship building.Responsible for updating timecards, scheduling, wage changes, and other payroll related items.Responsible for employee promotions, disciplines, and terminations.Work with Human Resources regarding worker's compensation claims, FMLA, LOA, and other employee related items.Human Resources

High school diploma or equivalent. Higher education strongly preferred.Valid Driver's License, able to operate a manual transmission.21 years of age or older.Able to promote and instill enthusiasm, passion, teamwork & leadership in all operating platforms.Previous customer service / client relationship experience required.Minimum 2 years management experience providing leadership in a team environment.Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, interpersonal skills.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and accurately, both verbally and in written form. Able to read, understand, and converse in the English language.Is dependable and can adapt to a changing environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook (email), Word and Excel.Able to stand, walk, and jog in diverse weather conditions as needed for training and operational purposes.Able to work outside (as a valet / traffic control) in diverse weather conditions for extended periods of time as needed.Able to sit at a desk for extended periods of time.Able to work on computer & keyboard for extended periods of time
Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
