Job Summary:
Cornerstone Private Practice is seeking an organized and insightful Financial Operations Specialist/Director to play a key role in managing our financial health and daily operations. This part-time position could be full-time depending on the applicant's interest and skills, and can be done, in part, remotely.

Responsibilities:
- Financial Oversight: Supervise and implement daily financial activities to ensure seamless operations, anticipate future trends, and help develop strategies to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Fiscal Administration: Collaborate with leadership to manage Cornerstone's financial health, drive growth, and connect financial data to business strategy.
- Patient Billing: Manage the billing process, including invoicing, payment processing, and patient communication, ensuring a transparent and positive patient experience.
- Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks in a timely and ethical manner.
- EHR Payment Processing: Utilize our Practice Management system to maintain accurate patient information, process payments via Rectangle Health Processor, and handle ERA insurance payments.
- Deposit Management: Process and record deposits accurately and efficiently.
- Tax Document Preparation: Support tax document preparation, ensuring accurate, timely submission, and compliance with all regulations.
- Payroll Administration: Accurately manage payroll in a punctual and compliant manner.
- Employee Benefits Administration: Administer employee retirement, HRA, FSA, CME, and DCA accounts, implement updates, process reimbursements, and ensure accurate tracking.
- Risk Management: Understand and manage financial risks, ensuring the company's stability and compliance with regulations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Experience in financial operations, preferably in healthcare.
- Financial Expertise: Strong foundation in accounting and finance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks. Preferably experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems in addition to payment processing (familiarity with Rectangle Health is a plus).
- Billing and Insurance Knowledge: Understanding of billing processes and insurance payments.
- Payroll Experience: Experience with payroll administration.
- Employee Benefits Knowledge: Knowledge of employee benefit accounts (Retirement, HRA, FSA, CME, DCA).
- Analytical Skills: Financial reporting, KPI identification, and financial data analysis
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
