Job Title : Production Manager
Location : 100% Onsite in Dallas, TX. Please note : this role will require a small percentage of travel to Phoenix, Arizona, to visit other facilities.

Facility Schedule : Monday to Saturday, closed on Sundays. This role requires 40-45 hours per week on the day shift . Occasional Saturday availability may be needed based on operational demands.
Job Overview / Duties :
Operational Scheduling & Coordination
- Create and oversee workflows to ensure timely completion of output goals.
- Partner with operational teams to balance workload distribution and adapt to shifts in demand.
- Track and modify schedules as needed to accommodate unexpected disruptions, such as equipment maintenance or supply shortages.
- Drive process enhancements to improve scheduling efficiency, minimize downtime, and increase overall productivity.
Resource Utilization & Deployment
Strategically assign workforce, equipment, and materials to optimize output and maintain operational efficiency.Supply Oversight & Materials Management
Work closely with procurement and supply teams to maintain steady availability of essential inputs.Develop initiatives to control material waste, streamline inventory costs, and ensure adequate stock levels.Maintain accountability through systemized tracking and verification of material usage.Performance Evaluation & Predictive Insights
Assess operational metrics to pinpoint inefficiencies, trends, and opportunities for refinement.Generate reports detailing performance insights, resource application, and planning effectiveness for leadership review.Utilize predictive modeling to anticipate demand and align capacity planning accordingly.Team Development & Leadership
Oversee a group of specialists responsible for scheduling, planning, and analysis.Provide ongoing training and career development to strengthen team expertise.Promote a collaborative, solutions-focused work environment that encourages innovation and efficiency.Job Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Strategy, or a related field.5–7 years of experience in production planning, resource coordination, or supply chain management within a food manufacturing environment .Proficiency in workflow management platforms and planning tools (e.g., enterprise resource systems, materials tracking software).Strong analytical mindset with a focus on leveraging data for strategic decision-making and process refinement.Knowledge of industry-specific safety standards and regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., HACCP, FDA, USDA).Hands-on experience with efficiency-driven methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement frameworks (certification preferred).Proven ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and communicate effectively across departments.
