CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a Safety Auditor for an esteemed client in the Aviation industry . As the Safety Auditor, you will be responsible for observing airline employees and auditing for safety best practices to ensure a safe workplace. Qualified candidates will have 2 years of experience in a Safety Compliance, Safety Coordinator, Safety Specialist, Safety Auditor or similar Safety role within airport, airline, or military aviation with knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ISAGO, SMS, and DOT standards. Requirements & Responsibilities for the Safety Auditor Commercial Aviation :
2 years of experience in an aviation safety compliance, safety specialist, safety auditor, safety coordinator, or similar safety role, preferably at a commercial airport for military aviation.
Bachelor's Degree in occupational safety or industrial health is preferred, but work experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
CSP or CHST Certification is a bonus, but not required.
Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ISAGO, SMS, and DOT standards.
Experience observing and auditing above and below wing safety procedures to ensure employees are following established safety guidelines
Compensation for the Safety Auditor Commercial Aviation :
Direct Hire
Salary : $70-80K / year (based on experience)
Location : On site at LGA, BOS or DTW
