Role Overview:
As a Tax Director, you will oversee and lead tax-related functions while mentoring a dedicated team of professionals. Your role will be pivotal in delivering innovative financial strategies and ensuring regulatory compliance for our esteemed clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead tax planning, compliance, and preparation for diverse client portfolios.
- Manage complex tax filings, including corporations, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Provide quality control for financial statements and tax documents.
- Oversee international tax matters, including filings and compliance.
- Supervise quarterly and annual payroll tax returns.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Stay updated on evolving tax laws and implement best practices within the team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 10 years in tax roles, including 5 years in a leadership position.
- Expertise: Solid understanding of tax planning, preparation, and compliance.
- Certification: Active CPA license required.
- Software Proficiency: QuickBooks, Excel, and advanced tax technologies.
- Industry Insight: Experience with business management or working directly with high-net-worth clients.
- Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (Master’s in Taxation preferred).
