Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing and assembling various metal components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, proficiency in reading blueprints, and the ability to operate various fabrication machinery. The Fabricator will work closely with other team members to ensure high-quality production standards are met.
Duties
- Interpret and read blueprints and technical drawings to understand project specifications.
- Operate fabrication equipment including press brake machines, forklifts, and cranes to shape and assemble metal parts.
- Utilize measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure precision in fabrication processes.
- Build ductwork and perform pipe threading as required for specific projects.
- Conduct basic math calculations to determine measurements and material requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during the fabrication process.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating press brake machines, forklifts, and cranes is essential.
- Strong ability in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
- Familiarity with measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers for accurate measurements.
- Experience in building ductwork and performing pipe threading tasks is a plus.
