Essential Job Functions *
- Maneuver a 53' trailer with a commercial vehicle on site and over the road, generally from Mathews Brothers' Belfast manufacturing facility to customers' locations
- Safely load and unload windows, doors and other items, properly securing all loads
- Perform routine fueling, lubricating and servicing of vehicle
- Maintain electronic log in accordance with DOT regulations
- Perform all pre & post-trip inspections of vehicle
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- Current Maine commercial driver's license
- General knowledge of laws and regulations governing commercial transport
- Ability to read and write simple instructions, short correspondence and memos, and apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
