The ideal candidate will have experience with DDC components and systems, and a good working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems. This position involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting building automation and control systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commissioning, programming, point-to-point testing and troubleshooting HVAC controls and Client
- Using computers for programming building automation systems and for documenting work performed
- Using multi-meters and calibration equipment to analyze and fine tune controls operation
- Performing routine preventive maintenance and calibration
- Responding to emergency maintenance and repair requests
- Ensuring all installations and repairs comply with safety and quality standards, adhering to relevant codes and safety regulations.
- Providing excellent customer service
- communicating with customers and collaborating with team members in a timely and professional manner
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, technical training in HVAC systems preferred
- 3 years of experience in commercial HVAC controls or related fields
- Advanced skills working with various computer operating systems and applications
- Tridium N4, Distech Controls experience is a plus
- Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams and flow diagrams
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Aptitude for mechanical/technical work
- Effective written communication skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
