Our client is looking for a Department Manager to be responsible for the professional, technical, management, marketing, administrative and financial aspects of the Civil / Site Department in Miami, FL.
Responsibilities
Land Development Planning, Stormwater Management, Water and Sanitary Sewer, and Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Design.
You will Manage multiple projects and workload with competing deadlines.
Regulatory agency permitting.
Proposal planning and budget preparation.
Financial Management including invoice preparation and accounts receivable.
Scheduling.
Face of office in Miami, FL
Mentoring and training to grow your staff professionally
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
10 years of experience required.
Knowledge of local city, county and state land use processes and regulations.
Technical skills in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analyses, grading and other site development related designs.
Experience with Civil 3D.
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities.
Construction management oversight experience a plus.
Valid driver's license.
bility to read, write and understand English / Spanish for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
Must be bi-lingual
Must have a PE
Must have experience working in Florida on Civil projects or designs
Travel to Boca, FL and Lauderdale, FL office at times.
