Duties
- Conduct property tours for prospective tenants, showcasing available units and highlighting key features.
- Manage the leasing process from application to move-in, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
- Negotiate lease terms and conditions with potential tenants while adhering to company policies.
- Maintain knowledge of local rental markets and trends to provide accurate information to clients.
- Handle tenant inquiries and concerns promptly, utilizing conflict management skills to resolve issues effectively.
- Collaborate with the property management team to ensure facilities are well-maintained and meet tenant needs.
- Assist in managing Section 8 housing applications and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Utilize customer relationship management tools to track leads and follow up with potential renters.
- Support marketing efforts by promoting available properties through various channels.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales or property management is preferred.
- Strong understanding of contract negotiation and legal aspects related to leasing agreements.
- Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer engagement.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of facilities management principles is beneficial.
- Strong conflict management skills to handle tenant disputes professionally.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for property tours.
