- Assist students with personal hygiene tasks
- Provide support for toileting needs that includes assisting with transfers
- Assist with transfers to and from wheelchair and other seating devices
- Support students in maintaining proper nutrition and hydration
- Assist with feeding and ensure dietary restrictions are adhered to
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and report any changes or concerns related to students medication
- Engage with students in a positive and compassionate manner
- Foster a supportive and caring environment through meaningful interactions
- Take and record students vital signs as required
- Report any abnormalities or concerns to the nursing or healthcare team
- Maintain accurate and up to date records of care provided
- Document observations and report any significant changes in students condition
- Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper care to student
