Production Supervisor – 3rd Shift Location : Omaha, NE
Schedule : 3rd Shift (10 : 30 PM – 7 : 00 AM)
A leading manufacturing company is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee third-shift operations at its Omaha facility. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at team development, and is committed to improving operational efficiency.
What You’ll Do : Team Leadership & Development
Supervise and mentor a team of 12-32 employees, including shift coordinators, machine operators, and warehouse personnel.
Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Enforce company policies and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
Production & Quality Management
Coordinate production flow to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Oversee machine performance, product inspections, and troubleshooting.
Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and operational regulations.
Process Improvement & Problem-Solving
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Implement new technologies and best practices to optimize production.
Use data from manufacturing software to track progress and drive improvements.
What We’re Looking For :
Experience : Three or more years in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
Education : Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent hands-on experience.
Technical Skills : Proficiency in Word, Excel, and manufacturing software.
Strong Leadership : Ability to train, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
Problem-Solving Ability : Skilled in troubleshooting production challenges and driving solutions.
