A well-established supplier is looking for a dedicated and safety-focused Non-CDL Delivery Driver to join our team. This full-time position offers steady hours (Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM) and competitive pay at $20 per hour. Job Responsibilities This position involves both local deliveries and warehouse operations, ensuring that products are picked, packed, and delivered efficiently and safely. Key duties include :
Driving and Deliveries
Operate flatbeds, box trucks, pickups, and cargo vans to deliver products to customers in the Omaha metro area
Ensure safe and timely transportation of goods while maintaining a professional demeanor
Unload products at customer locations, verifying accuracy and quality control
Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet scheduled deadlines
Warehouse and Inventory
Assist with picking, packing, and staging orders for delivery
Perform inventory counts and help manage stock levels
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse to ensure smooth operations
Safely operate forklifts for loading and unloading products
Customer Service and Operations
Act as a professional and courteous representative during deliveries
Communicate with customers and the internal team to ensure accurate and efficient deliveries
Conduct basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to management
Follow all safety procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations
Qualifications
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no accidents, tickets, or violations)
Forklift operation experience or willingness to learn
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks that involve bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
Strong attention to detail for both driving and warehouse tasks
Basic math and measurement skills for inventory management and order verification
Customer service experience with a professional and friendly attitude
Basic computer skills for route planning and inventory tracking
