Certified Medical Assistant - HIV/STD Counselor Opportunity
Pay: $25/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No weekends!)
Contract Length: 3–6 months (Temp to Hire)

Your Role
Medical Assistant - HIV/STD Counselor duties:
• Deliver compassionate patient care by greeting patients, taking medical histories, and measuring vital signs.
• Conduct HIV/STD counseling, including risk assessments, prevention education, and rapid HIV testing.
• Perform clinical duties such as administering medications, phlebotomy, and preparing treatment rooms.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to engage at-risk individuals in ongoing care.
• Maintain accurate records, referrals, and testing documentation to ensure quality care.
What We’re Looking For
• Required:
• High School diploma or GED.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant and HIV Test Counselor (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
• COVID-19 vaccination or valid medical/religious exemption.
• Preferred:
• Proficiency in phlebotomy, administering injections, and maintaining sterile environments.
• Familiarity with HIV/STD prevention and culturally sensitive patient care.
• Strong interpersonal skills to thrive in diverse settings.
