Responsibilities of the Stationary Engineer:
Responsible for overall Plant Utilities.
Performs and inspects, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting and repair of boilers, pneumatic, ammonia refrigeration, and HVAC cooling and heating systems, equipment, and machinery.
Participates in minor and major utilities construction projects.
Assists in developing and maintaining required elements in the PSM regulatory program.
Requirements of the Stationary Engineer:
A current City of Omaha Third Grade Boilers license is required.
Five (5) years of industrial ammonia refrigeration experience with operating, troubleshooting, and repairing ammonia refrigeration systems required.
Must be able to read and understand electrical diagrams, blueprints, drawings, P&ID, and technical service manuals.
