This division collaborates extensively with central offices—including payroll, budget, and payment services—and works directly with the Texas State Comptroller’s Office and the assigned Appropriation Control Officer. The busy season is fast approaching!
Responsibilities :
- Oversee and coordinate appropriation accounting activities.
- Ensure compliance with state financial regulations and policies.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance financial operations.
- Manage reconciliations between the university’s accounting system and the state’s accounting system.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate fund and appropriation management.
