Job Posting: Asset Management and Inventory Specialist
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
The Airfield Management Division (AFM) within the Department of Aviation (DOA) is seeking a self-driven and dependable candidate to support the division's administrative and operational initiatives. This role offers a dynamic work environment with both office and field responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:

Manage asset tracking and inventory control processes.

Communicate effectively with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and resolve issues.

Create detailed reports to support operational efficiency.

Assist in daily, weekly, and monthly operations in the storeroom.

Support the City of Dallas Procurement Process.

Participate in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
-
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).

Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

At least two years of experience in automotive and industrial parts knowledge and ordering (preferred).

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

All necessary PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) will be provided.

This is a split-work position with tasks varying between office and field work.
