Position Details :
Location : Cary, North Carolina ( 100% On-Site )
Pay Rate : $20.40 / hour
Schedule : Monday Friday | 11 : 30 AM - 8 : 00 PM EST
Must be available to work one Saturday per month.
Training Schedule : Between 9 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM EST; post-training, assigned schedules will be provided.
Key Responsibilities :
Serve as the primary resource for inbound calls, addressing non-clinical inquiries such as prescription statuses and financial information.
Handle inbound and outbound calls to schedule medication deliveries and payments, ensuring accurate profile updates for timely distribution.
Respond to customer inquiries directly or route calls to appropriate staff, ensuring prompt and effective resolutions.
Update progress notes to streamline workflow and enable quick status assessments.
Utilize management systems to provide customers with information regarding refills, shipment statuses, and insurance verification.
Assist patients with questions during refill scheduling and escalate clinical concerns to pharmacists or nurses as needed.
Identify and report adverse events or product complaints to clinicians to prioritize patient safety.
Perform additional tasks as assigned, adapting to team and program requirements.
Qualifications :
Education : High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
Experience : Minimum 1 year in a call center or customer service role. Familiarity with medical terminology and prior pharmacy experience is a plus.
Skills :
Professional verbal and written communication.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
Experience with management information systems and customer service platforms.
Ability to maintain a professional and empathetic telephone manner.
Must be willing to complete a typing and customer service assessment.
