Commercial Landscape Project Manager
Title: Commercial Project Manager
Reporting Structure: Reports to Business Unit Leader
Key Accountabilities:
- Transition work from approved estimate to project (Related mainly to cost management)
- Transition and Hand off project from "Getting work Team" to "Do Work Team" (Operational)
- Buyouts: selecting subs/suppliers, scope review, negotiating, awarding, contracting subs
- Submittals
- Establish anticipated schedule
- Project billings (At inception and Monthly) - Internal contact & follow up to provide accurate info
- Change order reviews change order pricing
- Project profitability enhancement
- Project close out

Weekly Execution:
- Meetings with Owners, existing construction team
- Buyouts in full and on time
- Client meetings (Project prime contact)
- Job budget from planning perspective
- Job cost capture review (costs against budgets/contracts) includes confirmation of sub billings
- Track Active Projects updates from GC's/Clients to ensure all docs are up to date
- Drawing Management includes proper and current drawings available
- Back log review - Influencing what work is bid, a what pricing, in which period
- Schedule Awareness
- Kick-off meeting from estimation to construction/field
- Schedule of values
- Change management (continuous process)
- Tracking submitted bids & follow up (determined through Estimator & Salesperson collaboration)
Required Technical Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of related estimating experience
- Conceptual estimating
- Landscape and Irrigation Knowledge – Intermediate level
- Take-off Software – Expert level
- Industry bid solicitation portals and software
- Procore Project Software – Intermediate level
- General Computer Skills – Intermediate level
- Microsoft Outlook – Intermediate level
- Microsoft Excel – Intermediate level
- Microsoft Word – Basic level
- HubSpot CRM – Basic level
