We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Concrete Finisher to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proven ability to produce high-quality concrete surfaces. This position requires having a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently and effectively on construction sites.
Setting up and aligning forms for concrete pouring, ensuring proper depth and pitch.
- Mixing, pouring, and spreading concrete according to project specifications.
- Using various tools and techniques to smooth, level, and finish concrete surfaces to achieve desired textures and finishes.
- Cutting control joints and installing expansion joints.
- Applying sealants and curing compounds to protect and strengthen concrete.
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, and other construction machinery.
- Perform tasks such as grading, excavating, backfilling, and transporting materials.
- Maintain equipment by performing daily inspections, conducting routine maintenance, and reporting any necessary repairs.
- Ensure the safe operation of equipment and adhere to all safety regulations and best practices.
- Assist with site preparation and cleanup.
- Assisting with other construction tasks as needed.

Work hours are Monday-Friday, starting at 6:30 AM. Weekends as necessary.

• Required Skills and/or Certifications
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher (3 years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques
- Proficiency in using various hand and power tools (trowels, floats, screeds, grinders, saws)
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment (3 years preferred)
- Strong understanding of heavy equipment operation principles and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans
- Excellent physical stamina and strength
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Valid driver's license (CDL a plus)
- Bilingual a plus
