About the Role:
We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscape Installation Foreman to lead our residential installation teams. You'll be the driving force behind turning our clients' dream landscapes into reality, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role, demanding both technical expertise and exceptional team management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership & Execution:
- Oversee the daily operations of residential landscape installation projects, from site preparation to final walkthrough.
- Interpret and implement landscape designs, blueprints, and specifications with precision.
- Coordinate and manage crew activities, assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
- Proactively identify and resolve on-site challenges, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including time sheets, material logs, and progress reports.
- Team Management & Development:
- Lead, motivate, and train crew members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
- Provide constructive feedback and performance evaluations.
- Promote teamwork and collaboration to achieve project goals.
- Technical Expertise & Quality Control:
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of landscape installation techniques, including plant installation, hardscaping, irrigation, and drainage.
- Ensure the proper use and maintenance of equipment and tools.
- Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure all work meets or exceeds client expectations.
- Manage material procurement and inventory, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
- Client Communication:
- Maintain professional and courteous communication with clients, addressing concerns and providing updates as needed.
- Conduct final walkthroughs with clients, ensuring complete satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Landscape Installation Foreman or similar leadership role in residential landscape installation.
- Strong knowledge of plant materials, hardscape construction, irrigation systems, and drainage solutions.
- Ability to read and interpret landscape designs and blueprints.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to operate and maintain landscape equipment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations.
