Responsibilities :
As a Senior CloudOps Engineer, your day-to-day responsibilities will include :
Demonstrating hands-on expertise in cloud capabilities, particularly with AWS and Azure.
Acting as a subject matter expert in cloud infrastructure as code using Terraform.
Streamlining operations through extensive Kubernetes experience.
Deploying and managing Kubernetes-related solutions, including Cilium, Linkerd, Karpenter, External Secrets, Cert Manager, and Metrics Server.
Configuring and deploying tools like Kafka, Airflow, and Elasticsearch.
Managing CICD tools, including Jenkins, FluxCD, and ArgoCD.
Administering RDS databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
Configuring and optimizing monitoring tools, including Prometheus, Grafana, AlertManager, and AWS Cloudwatch.
Managing and automating systems for secure operations.
Designing infrastructure aligned with healthcare and security compliance frameworks, including HIPAA and SOC2.
Maintaining 24 / 7 / 365 global operations and responding to production issues in real time.
Requirements :
We’re looking for a Senior CloudOps Engineer who brings expertise in the following areas :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
At least 5 years of experience in DevOps.
3-5 years of experience with Kubernetes in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes-related tools like Cilium, Linkerd, Karpenter, etc.
Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or Crossplane.
Advanced AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Associate / Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional).
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) certifications (preferred).
Strong programming / scripting skills (Bash, Python / Go, Groovy, YAML).
In-depth knowledge of security measures, encryption, and network configuration.
Experience with relational, NoSQL, and Graph databases.
Familiarity with development tools like IDEs, version control, and collaboration platforms (e.g., Confluence, Jira, Git).
Proficiency in Linux server administration and SQL programming.
