Senior Salesforce Developer – Contract Opportunity Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to support enterprise-level Salesforce integrations, focusing on government system implementations and mentoring junior developers. Work Location & Attendance Location : Must be physically based in Georgia Attendance : Mandatory in-person meetings Key Responsibilities Custom Application Development : Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components (LWC). Database Management : Create and manage Salesforce objects and fields, write SOQL queries, and ensure data integrity. Integration : Build and maintain integrations with third-party services using REST and SOAP APIs. System Configuration : Configure Salesforce settings, manage user roles / permissions, and set up Lightning Flows. Troubleshooting & Support : Identify and resolve bugs, provide technical support to end-users, and monitor system performance. Technical Leadership : Lead technical design sessions, mentor junior developers, and ensure high-quality Salesforce implementations. Required Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Experience 7 years of Salesforce development experience. Technical Skills Apex Programming – Strong expertise in writing scalable Apex code. Lightning Web Components (LWC) – Proficiency in developing modern, responsive UIs. SOQL & SOSL – Advanced skills in Salesforce Object Query and Search Languages. Data Modeling & Management – Expertise in designing efficient data models and ensuring data integrity. API Integration – Experience integrating external systems via REST and SOAP APIs. DevOps & CI / CD – Familiarity with Salesforce DX, version control, and continuous integration / delivery pipelines. Security & Compliance – Knowledge of Salesforce security best practices and compliance standards. Workflow Automation – Strong experience with Process Builder and Flow for automation.
